ArtSea Gallery & Goods sells coastal products for those who live at the beach or wish they did. ArtSea was founded by Carolyn Hauschildt and her two daughters, Wendy Hauschildt and Jodi Eberhardt.  The three were on a trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico visiting area galleries and decided to open a shop of their own in July 2007.

As a painter and graphic designer, Wendy creates unique coastal images on both canvas and print.  Her work is sold exclusively at ArtSea.  Jodi and her husband, Joe, created a pottery studio on South Padre Island and sell their wares in the store. 

In 2011, the family purchased and ice cream shop across the street.   Wendy’s husband, Jeff, manages Davey Jones Ice Cream Locker in Port Isabel.

We all made the decision to embrace our beach life and move away from the cold Wisconsin winters to the warmth of south Texas.   We created embrace your beach life^TM line of products to share our love of life on at the coast.
